Tarifa, Spain
We had a two-day holiday at school as all staff were dismissed midday on Monday and had off Tuesday and Wednesday. Mike and I decided to take a quick trip to Tarifa, Spain. I’m so glad we did. Although it involved a lot of travel for a short amount of time including a train and ferry, it was worth it! I was reminded of how much I love Spain, the culture, food, being on the Mediterranean, and feeling the peace within the walls of our boutique hotel. I also appreciated the soft mattress and all the extras of a beach holiday. The only downside was missing the train on the return, but after feeling fully rested, we went with the flow on that delay and felt rejuvenated as we returned to school and welcomed all returning staff the following day.
When we spent 3 months in Europe as newlyweds, Spain was my favorite place! Glad you were able to get away, and I am sure you'll be back there soon!
